We appreciate that many families may have to self-isolate but the school will not be sending any extra homework currently as this puts an unreasonable work load onto teachers, (Click on title to read more)
at a time when we are working in difficult circumstances with an increasing number of staff being absent. If your child is in isolation, I would recommend reading every day, keeping a diary, practical maths activities and completing activities in their homework books.
The school is focusing on creating a range of activities that will be sent out in the event of a school closure.
The school office is receiving a high volume of calls at present which is very difficult for the school to manage in light of the reduced staffing and the fact that we only currently have 1 phone line working.
