Following advice from the Department for Education, received yesterday afternoon.
Following advice from the Department for Education, received yesterday afternoon, Shifnal Primary School and Barn Owls Nursery will now be closing at the end of Thursday 17 December, and Friday 18 December will now be a PD day. This will replace the PD day that had previously been arranged for Monday 22 February 2021.
I apologise for any inconvenience that this early closure may cause and for the lateness of this notification but the timing of the change is the result of the government’s late announcement.
We look forward to welcoming all the children back to school on Tuesday 5 January 2021.
